Bosch Connected World 2026

What does it take to move the Software-Defined Vehicle from promising concepts to something that works at scale?
That question was at the center of our time at Bosch ConnectedWorld 2026. Across booth sessions, panels, demos and countless conversations, the digital.auto community came together to explore where the SDV is heading next - and where the hard engineering work still lies.
One major topic was AI-powered vehicle experiences and how we validate them. With the HAL4SDV Blueprint, we discussed why shift-left approaches, virtual testing and continuous validation are becoming essential when AI enters the vehicle development process.
Another recurring theme was something we know well: Integration Hell. In our panel Escaping Integration Hell: Turning Vehicle Concepts into Continuous Delivery, experts from AVL, Bosch, RemotiveLabs, HPE and KAIZENICS discussed the challenge of turning individual technologies and promising prototypes into continuously delivered vehicle software.
And there was much more happening around the booth: SDV Benchmarking, functional validation from day one, composable SDV architectures, our SDV - The Next Wave vodcast and booklet, and EDCAR as a hands-on demonstration of what an open experimentation environment can look like. We also brought Bosch and Google together for an SDV Unplugged conversation.
What connected all of these discussions was a simple realization: SDV innovation cannot happen in isolation. Open ecosystems and collaboration across company boundaries are becoming increasingly important as the industry moves from individual concepts toward scalable implementation. LinkedIn
For digital.auto, BCW was therefore much more than two days of presentations. It was a chance to bring the community together, challenge our thinking and connect the topics we are working on with the real questions the industry is facing.
